INGREDIENTS

Drumstick (murungakkai) 2 large chopped into 6″ fingers
Aubergines ( eggplant/ kathirikai) 3 quartered
Small onion 50 gram
Garlic cloves 4 to 5 peeled
Tomato 4 medium chopped
Salt to taste
Sesame oil 2 tbsp plus 1 tbsp
Spice paste:
Freshly grated coconut half cup
Red chili powder 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder 2 tsp
kari masala powder 2 tsp
Tempering:
Mustard seeds 1 tsp
Urad dal 1 tsp
Curry leaves a sprig
Hing a small pinch.
